if you are invited to a wedding where the BM's are wearing Black is it appropiate as a guest to wear a black dress??

My BM's wore black and I had plenty of people at my wedding wearing black. I thought it was fine.

Personally I wouldn't care but that's just me. I guess if someone asked and still wore the same color I'd be miffed but otherwise I wouldn't care.
Black is such a big color to wear to dressy events anyway, it's not like people would wear it just to look like the BM's or distract from them.

If you are concerned though, I would not go overboard with hair & accessories
