Okay i don't know about anyone else, but whenever anyone asks about my wedding, i feel my chest turn red. As we get closer to the wedding, i get more and more nervous. I'm not nervous about marrying my FH (can't wait to do that ) but i'm petrified of walking down the isle and having everyone stare! Oh and when i get nervous, i sweat. So on top of being nervous, my dress will be drenched even before i walk down the isle!
Am i the only one that feels this way?

I completely relate to this -- I've always HATED being the center of attention in any situation. I'm hoping that on the day of, my excitement will overtake my nervousness ............

when you walk down the aisle, look at no one but your FH! that's what I did I locked eyes with him and everyone disappeared. Don’t sweat the small stuff

i am anxious by nature, and i do worry sometimes how i will handle all the attention on the big day. i guess a good measure of this will be how i handle the attention at my shower! i hope i am not bright red the whole time lol. i'm sure it wont be that bad. i think i will be so happy and excited that my anxieties will take a back seat! ~Lacey

I am the same way!! It's good to hear from others that don't LOVE being the center of attention. Actually, it's a huge reason I'm going a different route and having a smaller wedding, and maybe a destination, but not 100% sure yet.

Oh trust me... i wanted to elope on the beaches of the caribbean. But my FH wanted the whole wedding! So here i am...

trust me! you've never met anybody whos more shy than me!!! I HATE attenti on me... but, at the wedding, i was completely fine! its hard to explain, but something just kind of takes over.... and its just so exciting and you're just having so much fun that you forget about being nervous. i agree with the whole just look at your F when you're walking down- just look straight ahead and once you get up there, you really forget about all the other people that are there and you just concentrate on FI and the ceremony.... it really isn't as bad as you think! and then you get to the reception and have a blast with everybody.... its just a fun. fun day!
