FH and I got engaged in Paris, so we were thinking of incorporating a little of paris in the wedding. I just came across these place card holders, but not sure if this would look tacky? What do you think?
I don't think it's tacky - If your guests know they will think it's cute

i think theyre cute!... but do a lot of people know you got engaged there? like theyd be able to make the connection right? otherwise i think in their eyes it may seem a littl random if they didnt know

Thanks girls. I like the idea but it makes me feel like it's not going with my theme really which is classic and elegant. Maybe we can do an eiffel tower ice sculpture.

The ice sculpture sounds great... esp if you're not siked about it 100%.... But I LOVE these little eiffel towers!!!
If they're not classy enough for you, then ditch them (although I think classy and elegant isn't really a THEME, just more of a style and how fancy you want your wedding to be or not be...)
What are your favors? invitations?
I definitely think that once you have your placecards on them, you will know if it's classy enough or not. I personally think that they will look very nice on the placecard table... and classy at everyone's plates...........
