Is this crazy...

Is this crazy...

I am wearing a cathedral veil for the ceremony and pics... I don't want to wear it though for the reception. I DO want to be wearing a veil for our first dance though. Think it's crazy to get 2 veils? Or even borrow maybe my sisters veil for the first dance? (something borrowed??)

thoughts?

does the cathedral have a blusher on it?

I have a cathedral with a blusher, so im wearing both for the ceremony, and then just the blusher for the reception..

No I want only a 1 tier cathedral bc my gown has a lot of detailing on the back and the blusher plus the veil hides a lot of it

I think it would be a nice idea to borrow the veil for the first dance. I know if my sister asked me to borrow it when that time comes I would be honored to lend it to her

I know a lot of people that do that..........if you want, you could borrow mine too. It's 1-tier fingertip with rhinestone trim

Thanks... it would actually have to be my step sisters now that I am thinking about it. My sister wore ivory. Although my step sister and I are really close. Maybe I will 'talk' about it over christmas and see if she offers.

you can borrow my veil ... it is a 2 tier fingertip in ivory (slightly off white), totally plain, raw edge

im wearing a cathedral length veil too. im gonna keep it on for the ceremony and most pics i think. but im definitly taking it off for the reception unless i get a veil that i can pull the veil up a lil and make another tier with it or something but i doubt ill wear it for the reception regardless.
personally, i wouldnt get two veils... jmo.

Re: Is this crazy...

When I went to try on gowns they put a cathedral veil on me, which was beautiful, but I told her I didn't want to drag it around all night and didn't want to spend all that $$ just to take it off after an hour. Then she told me they can bustle the veil and demosntrated it, and it looked great! That may be something to look into.
