I miscarried last week on Tuesday, bleeding was gone by Thursday. Today I SWEAR I'm ovulating! Don't want to give TMI, but I know my body fairly well and all the signs are on... is this even possible so closely after miscarrying??

YES! I wrote this on Shana's post also. After my D&C I ovulated just about 10 days after the surgery. I didn't think I would ovulate until AFTER a period but DR. said I was and COULD get pregnant although he really wanted me to wait until a period.

I MCd on March 6th, AF came on April 10th, I got pregnant on April 24th.

OMG! Ok, this makes me nervous... we BD'd last night for the first time since the miscarriage (back on the horse, literally... ), but unprotected because I assumed we were safe. Guess we'll be using protection for the next week

I know it's strange to think, but it could happen. My dr said the only bad thing about getting PG again BEFORE a period was that the due date calculations would be off...thereby causing a little problem with sono's and making sure the baby is at the right stage. BUT....it's not SUCH a bad thing if it does happen...right???

But I thought getting preggo right after miscarriage increases the risk for recurrent miscarriage? Unless that's what the Dr. says just to scare people into waiting a little bit

I was never told that. And I do have a friend who mc'd several years ago and got preggo right away w/o a period and her baby is 9 now! So, I don't think it increases the chance of another m/c.
