is this Favor overkill? (Wine and wine glasses)

is this Favor overkill? (Wine and wine glasses)

would it be too much to have custom made wine glasses AND mini wine bottles as favors? and also Jordan almonds wrapped in organza bags?

I cant decide whether I just want the wine glasses or just mini wine bottles as wine favors!! which one would guests get more joy out of? the wine glasses with our names/date on it or wine bottles?

What do you think? I am so confused!

The wine glasses are cute but to be honest i'm not sure how much they'd be used with your name and date on it. Maybe if you just did the glass with the bottle, that would be really nice!

my friend did stemless wine glasses with their name and wedding date on them with cherry blossoms (her theme). I use them when im home alone and there are no clean glasses, but you can't really use them when you have company. I would use them more if there was no names and just cherry blossoms.

HTH!

hoenstly I'm not a fan of anything personalized with other people's names and dates on them. you could get ribbon printed w your name and wrap them with that. just go for the wine. you can personalize the labels for that. they'll drink it and think of you.

i say personalize the mini wine bottle and give plain wine glasses. And skip the almonds I don't think most people eat them.

You can put personalized ribbon around whichever you choose.

to be honest I would scrap the wine glasses all together. It is a really cute idea but IMO I feel like most people wouldn't use them since they probably already have a set of glasses.

thanks guys, wow didnt think wine glasses were disfavored...lol. I went to a college alumni event that had them and I love it - its sitting there w/ my shot glass collection..

what about shot glasses, maybe sticking the almonds inside the shot glasses? there seem to be so many endless possibilities...

i love wine glasses, but I don't like the fact they are personalized since it limits their use.

ITA. No offense, but I don't want to drink out of a wine glass with your name on it!

I think personalized ribbons are a great compromise!

I did shot glasses for my law school graduation favor. Unfortunately, unless you are 23 I don't think they are appropriate for a wedding.

I third this! And, on the bright side, it's probably cheaper without the names!

I like the glasses too!

I agree with the girls. I wouldn't find much use for wine glasses with someone else's name and wedding date on them, its kinda weird.

Maybe just get plain wine glasses with a design or something and the wine. I do think that 's a cute idea.

but axe the almonds and shot glasses

Ill be honest ... if youre going to do a glass I would leave it plain. Most people wouldnt want a glass with your information on it from your wedding. Thats just me!

I am also doing mini wine bottles and wanted to do something else. I decided on Hersey kisses in organza bags. Maybe you can do somehting like that.
