Are you finding things on your registry that you DIDN'T register for!!
Some are actually really funny...I found a shower rail...you know the thing elderly people put in there shower to get in and out of easily!!
Found a bungi tie back.........
Very funny..not sure why the cashier would've added that at check out...
Then I find that people are buying me stuff like frames and platters they THINK I need (when I have many platters that I actually want) on the registry...weird that they'd add it though!!
You see.. requested 0 purchased.. 1....
Just thought it was funny.....wondering if that's happening to anyone else or is it just my weird in laws!!!

no you know what happens - if someone is buying you a gift and then your old aunt sue is buying herself a shower rail on the same transaction, that is being added to your registry list. strange i know. but i know my sister went shopping for my things and bought a vitamin water and that was added onto my registry and i thought hehe so thats why!!

i had that happen to. it happens when people buy stuff from your registry, it all get scanned in as being part of your registry. i had air freshners added to mine, and all i could think was wow, people must think our house stinks

Just don't take anything off, even if it makes your registry look ugly, because I did that and BB&B weren't going to give me cash back....but I fought them on it and pulled the manager out and I got my money back.

I read about this a while ago on here. If people buy other things at the same time as they purchase items on your registry, apparently some stores' systems will add these items to your registry. It doesn't mean that people necessarily bought YOU those items, just that they bought them at the same time they bought your gift. I think BBB does this. I haven't seen it yet myself, but .....
You reminded me of a dream I had last night in which I found a bunch of SHOES on my registy that I did not register for! And the saleslady I think was giving me a hard time removing them. I was like, 'why would i register for KEDS?' I think they were red white and blue PLAID too????
I had some crazyyyyy dreams last night.

yeah I only deleted the shower rail and the tie back..didn't want people to think I needed help our of my shower!!!

Actually when a person shops and tells the check out person it is for a registry everything they purchase is added to your registry - I have just been deleting the extra items.

YES it happens to me, too! There has a been a waffle maker iron thing on my registry for the longest time and I've never gotten it. I guess one of my guests bought it for themselves and it went onto my registry.
I also got a LOT of things for my shower that were not on my registry. I want to return some of them and have no clue where they were purchased! I hate to ask my guest where they got it!

I NEVER knew that. I think that is a little retarded on BBB or whatever stores part.
Thank for the warning...I'll tell my family to buy my registry stuff separately from what they are buying.

if people dint tell the cashier to seperate their own items from registry items then they get put in the comp as all registry ...and it gets added to the regisrty my first month at BBB i was adding candy to everyones registries lol

Yup that happened to me. I was looking at my registry and saw a magnifying mirror on there that I didn't register for. But I figured it was because some brought it along with our gift. It was pretty funny
