Is this inappropriate for a thank you card?

Hi Ladies....

I am working on my long overdue review. I was waiting for my pro pics to come in.

I do have a question for you though....do you think this is inappropriate for a thank you card. I know it is not traditional, but is that important to poeple receiving one?

UHHH pic was too big.....it is in my album

Clarification: my mom said it's not a tradition picture where we are close together and facing the camera. She is not happy.

I think it is totally fine, we used a pic that would be considered 'untraditional' and people loved them. I mean who actually calls to say 'I loved the thank you card!' , my parents got calls! I think people find TY's that are a little different then the norm refreshing! Beautiful pic, love your dress!

the pic is beautiful...not sure what you're asking tho...are you just sending the pic to people? instead of a card? If so you should include some sort of writing on the back of the photo

p.s. can't wait for your review...we are highllllyyy considering bourne for our wedding!

it actually looks like a pro pic to me. if you're thinking it's inappropriate bc it's not a traditional, facing forward kind of pic, then i say no. i don't like those kind anyway!

I think most people nowadays are giving more nontaditional thank you photos. it's not inappropriate at all. I think you should pick the photo you like best which best represents your day and which you think guests will enjoy!

Does you DH agree with that photo for TYs? I think you both should really like the picture. Or you could do a collage where you use that picture, as well as one where you see both your faces clearly.

But really it's up to you. I knew people like my grandfather would put the card on display so I wanted to include a few photos on ours.

I think it looks fine! Personally, I'd rather have a thank you that shows the whole dress (like yours) - I love showing friends and my mom the photo of the dress, that's the fun part!
