The due date for my RSVPs is next Wednesday - December 10th. We still haven't heard from like 40 couples!!! I feel like that's a lot of couples to have still not responded. is that normal. What did others experience?

I don't have any personal experience with your timeframe, but I think with the holiday last week you'll see a lot of responses this week.

We are going through this as well. Our due date is also dec 10th and we are still missing 40 people..Ill give it until then and start making a few phone calls, alot f people just wait until the last minute I guess

Are you missing 40 PEOPLE or 40 COUPLES? I'm missing 40 couples - that's like 80 people!

sorry to tell you this, but it's normal. People either RSVP right away or at the last minute. You will probably have a lot come in early next week for people that mail them over the weekend and another batch mailed on the 10th.

For some reason, I'm prematurely angry! I find this very rude and it shows a total lack of enthusiasm!!

totally unfortunately. I had to call a whole set of cousins a few days past the rsvp date to get responses and still got the statement oh, its so early but of course we're coming, like i have esp. dont worry.

i think it's rude also as soon as i get the invite and i know i can go i mail it back i'm know for being the first RSVP mailed i want people to know that they are important enough that i will take my time RSVP right away but unfortunatly that is not the norm

That is how I feel! If you want to show you're excited for something, you RSVP eagerly! I totally agree.
