Is this normal?

Is this normal?

I got my blood work back from the doctor and it looked like I ovulated this months, even though my cycles have been irregular and longer than 35 days. So, unfortunatelly, instead of having a 36 day cycle I had a 52 day cycle, so I ovulated more than 2 weeks later then we thought...

My Dr. still wants to start me on Clomid this cycle. is it normal?

I am getting confused now when I started to think about it because i was thinking that Clomid is only given to woman who do DO NOT ovulate on their own?

I think perhaps it helps you regulate ovulation? I'm just taking a guess.

I agree. I would imagine he is trying to get you to ovulate more often, rather then having a 52 day cycle.
Let us know how it goes!

I have been on clomid for 4 months. I am also irregular. Since being on clomid, my cycle went from like 38 days then to 36, then to 34 then to 32. I don't know what this month will be like...hopefully AF doen't show up!!

My cycle has been pretty irregular lately,
I just started Clomid this month,
but I didnt even question I wasnt ovulating,
I did blood work and went for some tests
and the next choice my dr. gave me was Clomid,
she just told me that it can help,
since then my body will produce more eggs, there is a greater chance of conception,
I really dont know if my dr. checked my ovulation, I just never really questioned it, I am pretty sure I ovulate every month,
just lately my period has been all out of whack,
but I agreed with going on clomid, I wanted any chances that can help BOOST our chances of concieving,
There is just so much info to take in and then all the stress, I think our bodies just react,
its all so crazy,
Best of luck, I will keep you posted on the my clomid use if you like,
like I said this is my first month of use, and HOPEFULLY MY LAST!

I am on my fifth and last month of clomid. I am very regular but they also give clomid to make women produce more than one egg for a better chance of conception.

Good luck!!!
