I have been noticing my wedding band is yellowing (it is white gold). Is this normal?? I have only been wearing it for 7 weeks and its noticeably yellow. Should I bring it back?

Re: is this normal
Have it re-dipped.
It's the metal reacting with your skin... happens to all my white gold jewelery.

No such thing as naturally white gold... so you'll have to take it back to have it dipped in rhodium periodically to keep it looking white.
Do you not have an e-ring? Or does it not match your e-ring? I only ask because I would think by now you'd have had this come up . . . I'm not sure why some pieces react more quickly than others, so I'm just curious. I have 2 right hand rings that FH bought for me and one is yellowing terribly while the one I've had longer has no issue yet. Weird!

Hmmm that does seem odd. I'd bring it to the jeweler and ask

My e-ring is platinum. We did not think we were going to be able to afford a wedding band but DH ended up surprising me with one. When he saw it he got really upset because he was afraid he got a bad ring.

Actually, here is a fascinating site that explains all things white gold. Interesting!
