I haven't heard from my hall since we booked.. (over a year ago) FH called them like 2 months ago to talk about the final payment, and my father had made payments to the hall.
is that normal?

i only heard from them when they called to schedule my menu meeting... that was the last week in May... we booked them mid July last year...

I think its completely normal. You wouldnt do your final menu and all that until at least a month before.

Unless YOU have something to ask them, they have no reason to be in touch with you until you are close to having your final count

Ya I think your good. The only correspondence we had was a bill in the mail. You wont need to do anything until the menu and stuff is due. No worries :) Just make sure if you dont hear from anyone that you call them and ask them when you are supposed to do that stuff.. I think that may be 1 month out or so.
