is this normal....

I ordered my dress,
At Lidia's the sample said 6, little snug.
At Wedding Center said 10, little too big.
When Lidia's measured me, they said I should be a 12.
So they called the manufacturer and they said you can't go by the tags, they could be wronge, you have to order what you measured as.

I would order what you measure as (largest measurement should be the size). If in doubt, always get next size. If one place told you 6 and the other 10 go for the 8, or simply look up that manufacturers size chart.

I would go by what Lidia says. I got my dress from her too, as did my bridesmaids. Some measured differently than the sizes they had on, like you did. So I totally trust Lidia, I think that she really knows what she is doing and would never order you the wrong size.

yes, they have been very nice. My measurements show a size 12 in the designer. I don't really care what size is ordered, as long as it is not hge when it comes in, I told them that too

You're supposed to go by the measurements. If you get a size that's too small, it will look horrible if it has to be taken out. Sometimes there isn't enough material to even take a dress out. I've heard horror stories.
