is this normal?? (may be tmi!!!)

I have this fear now - since we only have 5 months (a little more! - monday will be 5 months!) til the wedding i have become somewhat paranoid about getting pregnant over the past few months.....and i never was that concious before...not that it wqould be horrible or anything, fh is great and we'd welcome a baby but we'd just prefer to have all go as planned right now!

did anyone else go through it? i am lucky that fh is very patient and completely understands but i feel bad.....just wanted to see if anyone else went/is going through it??

( i didn't post it on bhb b/c i figured here everyone would see it..although maybe thats bad too...lol, oh well!)

Its very normal to have all these worries that that might happen. You put so much time and effort into making sure that everything is in place for your special day. I had worries that I was going to be sick on that day,etc.
Don't worry. Your day will be here before you know it and all your efforts will have been well worth it.

I completely understand what your going through. About 4 months before my wedding I got off the pills and was not going to take anymore birth control. Then 2 months passed after I stop the pills I didn't get my period. I had taken I think about 4 pregnancy test they all said it was negative and was completely freaking out. I was going to parties and weddings, wouldn't even drink and I was feeling guilty about wearing a white dress the day of my wedding. Luckily my period did come late and I felt sooooo relieved. All the things that went through my head about my weddng and me being pregnant. I wasn't going to tell anybody in my family except for my sister who knew and just keep it a secret until after the wedding. Fh and I thought the same as you we would welcome a baby but we wanted everything to go as planned.

4 months before our wedding...I had a dream that I was 4 months pregnant...so I would be 8 months pregnant at the wedding...I guess we all have some anxiety...

No I have to say I have the same paranoia. I try not to mention it to FI to much I think it would give him a heart attack, But I know that we are being extremely careful. So it will be ok.

glad to hear its normal, I went through it too. And lately, I've been getting paranoid again (even though the weddings over now).

thats part of the reason why were waiting til marraige.., the other reason being the church

I also had the same concerns. Not that we wouldn't be very happy having a baby, but I didn't want to go through the last couple of months pregnant. I think your concerns are very normal.
