I have people that haven't responded to my E party yet.

They have had the invite for over 8 weeks..

I am having a list at the door.
If your name isn't on it your not comming in?
Sound OK?

get used to it, that is the same behavior that will occur with your wedding invites. I think people are so darn inconsiderate. You will not be the first and you will not be the last. We all go thru it

Today was the day..

Shamma. Get this. No response to the E party no INVITE to the wedding doesn't matter who you are..

Its just the beginning.
I actually had one guy tell me two weeks before my wedding 'you got my verbal that I am coming - With a Date didn't you' EXCUSE ME BUT you couldn't put the little pre stamped card in the mail and NO you were not invited with your flavor of the week date!

Theresa, that is a great way to cut the guestlist. There are no guarantees tho' that the people who responded in a timely manner to your E-party will behave in the same manner when they get your wedding invite. Give them all another chance. I wonder what could be taking them so long *scratches head to think of some reason, that could be making the responses not flow in* Aha I got it, they have not stamps, no you sent stamps, I got it, they have not pens, oh you accept it in blood, pencil, whatever. I give up, they are probably just taking their own sweet time. It made me furious to think that some people never even sent ours back hubby had to call, how thoughtless can you be, I know it is not the biggest thing on your agenda, but all I am asking if for a yea or a nay Maybe you need to go and get the responses yourself. Have you started making any calls yet??? Did the deadline pass?? When do you have to give the final #'s in to the place???

They do nothing all day no jobs SQUAT..

I have my fathers bday dinner tonight.
When I get home if I don't have messages..
They won't be allowed in and they aren't invited to the wedding..

THAT IS THAT!

My mom's side of the family is from Minnesota and NOT ONE PERSON EXCEPT FOR ONE AUNT AND UNCLE (and mind you she is 1 of 6 children) RESPONDED TO MY E-PARTY....

And when my mom said something to my other aunt, she just said....oh well I figured you knew we weren't coming...we don't do that sort of thing out here....
Engagement parties are only for rich people....

Happend at my E-party too. 3 couples never responded so I figured ok not coming...oh but they showed up. The matre d' scrambled around to fit them in, but I know where your coming from its so annoying when people do that.

God help anyone if they do that for my wedding.

I am still waiting for over 80 responses for my wedding, my reply date is 4/8, i better get them all this week

T I have the same problem. FH's neighbors, literally the family to the left of their house and the family to the right have yet to respond. The left side family has a son in CHICAGO who replied on time!

People don't realize what they are doing wrong until they are planning a party and experience the same thing. Its just etiquette I think.
You don't have much to do but answer am I going or not, write it in, and drop the ****er in the mail! People!!
