I sent emails to all my major vendors asking them to send over insurance info to my rh - b/c that is what my maitre di requested...
Well, my photog responded saying it was ballsy of them to require that...and he's never had to do.
Is this uncommon or something?!

no actually my BM asked for us to do the same thing- i have heard of it before strange that your photographer even responsed like that

I dont think its all that uncommon- I know my hall requires all my vendors to have it also.

woah!!!!!! i hate to say this, but something's wrong with your photographer! My RH requires insurance certificates from all vendors who will be in the RH that day, and so did my e-party RH.

i think it's odd that the photographer had that reaction. it's standard practice to forward your insurance info to the RH.
