Is this OK?
We were planning to have our RD a few weeks before the wedding (cannot do it the night before or any other day that week), for a few reasons. It turns out that the date we picked is the weekend after my shower (I know, it's late, but I know why and its fine). We are having our ceremony at the RH, and they told us a rehearsal is not necessary, but I wanted to do a rehearsal anyway - so that everyone will know what to do and also to give the BM and GM who don't know each other a chance to meet. But, planning the Rd has become a royal pain in the a$$. So, now I'm thinking about just skipping it. Would it be OK to give the BMs their gifts at my shower? I don't think there is any other time that we will all be together until the day of the wedding and since I got them their DOJ and other stuff for the day of, I didn't want to wait until the last minute. (FH could give the GM their gifts the day of - they are not really 'wedding related' gifts). What do you think?
