I have posted a million times about reception venues so I apologize for doing it again but I just want to book already! We are tighter on money then expected..does anyone think its possible to have a feb or march 05' wedding on a Friday or Saturday night for less then $75 pp ( all...meaning that is including the tax and gratuity, and service charge in that price?) I think you can at swan club for that price.. there were a few I was quoted for feb. cheaper then that but it was also a sunday.. I noticed garden or beach places are MUCH cheaper in the winter.. even more then places like jericho terrace and sandcastle b/c most of the appeal of the place is the outside..
try timber point....they just renovated and I'm doing a Sat afternoon for $53 pp before taxes, came to around $73 pp after taxes and 18% svc charge.....and Feb was even CHEAPER than march

I am paying a lot less than $75 for a friday night in September @ the Huntington Townhouse. The Meadow Club is also very nice and is lower than $75.

There are quite a few places that fall within your budget for that time frame. All of the ladies here have made excellent suggestions and most of the places you listed are within your price. The only one I am not sure of is the Riviera. FI and I had looked at it for our wedding and they were not flexible at all when it came to pricing. You are planning in an off month for weddings so who knows. My advice is to call a few places and tell them the budget you are looking to spend within and ask if they can accommodate.

From what I understand they were reasonable for the brides who booked last year. When I went to see them they wanted around $110 pp before tax and gratuity for anytime between Sept to Dec. I asked when they would be within our price range and was told the only month it gets close to that is Jan. In Jan it was about $70-$75 PP. The best part is my cousin worked there for years (he even told them we were coming to look at it) and they still wouldn't give me a better price. Maybe your experience will be different. The regular banquet manager was sick that day so we met w/the owner. I'd check it out anyway; you have got nothing to lose. It's very pretty and from what I have been told the food and service are very good.

i met someone who got married in march at the fox hollow and the price she told me was far less than that. march is an off month, so you should get a deal anywhere.
