I was just quoted a price for a steel drum band (3 people) to play at my cocktail hour for one hour— are you ready—$1,200!! Can this possibly be what this really goes for? Anyone else out there hiring a steel drum band? How much are you paying?

$600 I was just quoted $800 yesterday for 2 drummers for 1 hour!!! Help where can I get this cheaper? I think that venders are taking advantage because it got to be a popular thing. I do not like that, some one CAN do better!

Our cocktail hour music is included in the price of our band. I think that is a bit much!

try www.gigmasters.com - I got quoted $1500 for my reception, but maybe someone will come down in price if you request less time or players.

It sounds a bit high - But they they wanted $1700 for a harpist for 1-hour....

I don't know if you found a stell drum band yet, but Rantin and Ravin has a trio for th CH (ONE HOUR) $600..That sounds like the best deal I've heard so far...I have to check them out also.

my cousin payed about that for her wedding the only thing was no one really noticed i felt bad for her they were to busy pigging out lol
