$170 for a standard room and $190 for a suite, in Westbury? It seems a bit pricey to me, especially because breakfast isn't included.
Should we keep looking? Trying to find something around Westbury/Mineola/NHP..?

Hmm mine is in April of next year and I got a room block quote of $110. Maybe you should check out some more and see. My hotel isn't in your area (it's in Hauppauge) or I would recommend them.

I think it depends on the time of yr. I got married in November and our hotel block costs $145 and the suites were about $200+ If you unsure, check out one more hotel......

I blocked at the Viana Hotel in Westbury and are block prices are $179 for a single and double, $194 for a triple and $209 for a quad

I was quoted higher than you but that could be the time of year I guess. I was quoted 199 for suite and 179 for standard not including breakfast.

For August we got one in Carle Place by the mall for $159/$169.

I have blocks at the Hyatt in Garden City and it is $139 for a double Queen bed room or $149 for a King bed room for January.

I think it depends on the place. Are you at the Viana? If so, that sounds right, that's where I am. I think it's a good price if you look at their regular daily rates and the place is so nice. They also offer discounted spa rates for anyone who stays. I thought the price was worth it. If it were a more 'express' type hotel, I would say maybe it's a little high. Last week I was at the Garden City Hotel for a friend's wedding and it was over $200 and so not worth it.
