Is this rude?

I am printing out invites off of the computer, on nice stationary, to give out to 'B List' people because we ran out of invites...

thoughts?

Do you have time to order more invites? If not, then you have to do it that way.

We got our invites in a week.

Honestly, I don't know if I would take that option (stationery) but I don't blame you one bit for not spending the $$$ on the extra invitations. I might instead go to staples and purchase some nice DIY invites and mail those out to the b-listers. But if you are confortable with it -- it's really fine. What matters most is that your inviting these people because you want them to share in your day.

I wish I would have done that, because I ended up paying just as much for 25 invites as I did for the 100 that I originally ordered. I say go for it. Nobody is going to be comparing invitations

Its not the worst, but maybe you could go to staples and buy those box sets that you can print out on the computer. Make sure none of the B list people know the A list that got nice invites, they may be insulted.JMO

Hmmmm.
Will any of your A list talk or see your B list?
I would say try to order more invites.

If you think you will have a B list, I would order more invites...you dont want them to think they are the B list...

I would not do it.

I would just order extra invites as well.... I would feel so bad if someone were to see your other invite, somehow. JMO

Go to Staples and get the kit. It's nicer than stationary, but less expensive than ordering a whole new set.

I think you should either order more invites or buy the nice blank ones you can make..not stationary though IMO

Re: Is this rude?

Staples has decent DIY invites.

Remeber these are your guests and what THEY should be considering is that you thought enough to invite them to SHARE in your day. Paper goes in the trash.

And here is a good white lie..Tell then that people were helping you do invites and made alot of mistakes so you had to improvise
