2 inch wide opening sounds REALLY tiny, like for an infant, but maybe I am just not able to picture it. I would not worry if you go bigger because she will grow into and always be able to wear it.

Personally, I would get the adult size for the reason I stated before, she can use it as she gets older, as well. Although if you really want her to wear it now and what not, then get her the smaller one. I mean, now that I look at it, my wrist is only about 2.5 inches across, so I'm sure the 2' would be fine, too. Wow, I just confused myself, hope I didn't confuse you!

NO! u didn't. i have tiny wrists - i just measured them and they are 2' across. i think i may get the 2' just so she has something to wear the day of.
