Is this smart or tacky?

Is this smart or tacky?

Ladies what do we think about candle votive place cards that are battery operated? This would solve the whole issue of the votives getting to hot to touch? Has anyone ever used these?

hmm....i'm not quite a fan of it. but if it is something you like...go for it.

the only thing i don't like is that even in the pic you can see in the glow...the shape of the battery and wiring.

we'll probably use them for the ceremony- we can't have lighted candles on the floor (which is what I want-going down the isle) bc the floor is wood

I don't think it's tacky.
If you're concerned about votives getting too hot that is a great solution.

Good idea. Maybe you can find them somewhere online in bulk?

Hmm...I've seen those in person (not those exact ones but similar) and it kind of reminds me of like church candles. i don't think I would do it. JMO

Were you able to find the company that makes the 'realistic' electric candles? The ones I have seen look tacky.

That is a good idea if you can see them in person. I was at the spa opver the weekend and I didn't even know it was a battery operated one.

They can be a bit costly though.

We think it is so smart and so safe. Especially if Children are at the wedding.
