Soooo, I am completely in love with this song and me and dh love listening to it. But here's the thing...it's 2 minutes long. I wanted it for the first dance but people might wonder what the heck happened to the rest of the song. LOL I just really want to incorporate it into our wedding and I don't know how and then I thought what's wrong with a shorter first dance? I dunno! Advice por favor!!

I don't think so. Some people cut songs short so that they are not dancing forever.

I know I just found out that Brian Mcknight did the original...didn't even know and I listen to Alicia's version every day! FH said he likes Alicia's better and so do I and I think it's ok that its 2 minutes. She emphasizes certain parts so nice. But you know im gonna go home and download the BM version as soon as I can! I think I might get uncomfortable dancing in the middle of everyone for much longer than 2 minutes anyway!

Yes believe it or Not 2mins is pretty long while dancing lol You can also mix it up a little , dance to a slow song and something more upbeat.
Whatever you choose good luck with everything, I am sure it will turn out nice

it's totoally fine! 2 minutes is long enough when there are 100 people just staring at you. in fact, i might cut my song down. we haven't picked it yet, but i wouldn't want it to be much longer than 2 mins!
