Is this strange...

I am doing the father/daughter dance but I also wanted to do a special dance with my dad.

When I was way younger he used to listen to the oldies station at night and there was one particular song that he taught me to dance to...'Save the last dance for me ' by The Drifters.... but I am scared the lyrics may be offensive to some..

We dont think anything sexual but I so dont want it to be inappropriate

I remember that song! My dad listens to Oldies too. It's kind of cute...if you REALLY analyzed (which most people wont when they listen to the lyrics at your wedding), you might say it is about a guy (Dad) not wanting to let go of a girl (his daughter). Make sense? Here are the lyrics:

Aww I just listened to it and got all teary..I think my daddy will totally get teary eyed too

I think it would be a great song...the lyrics made me cry too. Gosh, I really miss my dad! Wish I could dance with him at my wedding!
