so fh asked me what i wanted for our 8 yrs anniversary..which is coming up...i jokingly said buy me my shies n veil....he said ok..im not sure though..im paying for my dress myself so this would be a nice help but is it strange for him to buy it? thanks girls

I dont think it woudl be strange at all!! Fh and I did not really exchange for Valentines so that we could save the money for the wedding. As an anniversary gift, I think it would be a great idea for him to help you buy something you actually need to get right now.

not at all. I'm trying to convince FH to buy me my DO earrings and necklace for our 6 year anniv. which is 2 weeks before the wedding. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

I dont think it's strange at all. I think it's sweet of him to offer to get you things that you need. Besides if you choose to wear your shoes after your wedding they will be special for two reasons.
