So.. Most RH place a orchid on the butter dish at each place setting. I was thinking that FH could make 1 oragami rose instead and have this at each butter dish.
Oragmi roses had a BIG part in our relationship and the engagement.

Definitely not stupid!! It is so cute!! The only downside is that not ALL your guests will understand the significance, but as long as you and FH do that is all that matters.
I think it is a GREAT idea!

I think it's PERFECT!!!!! Especially because of the special meaning of the oragami roses between you and FH.
ETA: I don't think it matters if your guests know the meaning behind it or not. It's your wedding, you are allowed to have your secrets between you and FH. It's not like they're going to come up and say 'What do those roses mean???' If anything, they may just think it's a nice touch.

to be honest, unless you write a note, no one will get it. and when its near butter and people are hungry i think its one of those things that will easily be overlooked
however, i do like the idea....what if you did this as part of the place card assignments? or just put one at each place?
(of course i am increasing steve's workload 10x probably...)

That's a good point. On the save the dates i'll have a link to my wedding website.
If people read the engagement part then they'll understand.
