Since we are getting married on 4th of July 'weekend'(thursday) I wanted to have fireworks for after we say our I Do's and we are walking back down the aisle. FH thinks that its the dumbest thing he ever heard. Here I was thinking that it would be cute It is a night wedding.

make sure ur rh allows sparklers. theyve been real boooobs with that stuff lately.

Thx, I will and if they say I'll make a big deal because if they allow candles I dont see anything wrong with sparklers. They are almost the same thing.

i looked into this i thik it was around 7k or so for maybe 5mins

I was thinking of only have like 2 or going with sparklers. I am not going to have a show. 7k is way too much. I was going to maybe use he ones that you buy in the stores and light up at your house.

i think its a great idea! If you RH allows it then that would be perfect. Other than that...if you just get them yourself and set them off...where would you buy them? In PA?

That is so funny you said that. We asked CB and they said something like $10,000 and it's even allowed.

We really wanted a fourth wedding with fireworks. To answer your question so NOT tacky.

i think thats a great idea!! i went to a wedding on july 4th this year and it didnt feel like july 4th because i didnt see any fireworks or sparklers....go for it if you can!!

'09 crashing... I'm a 4th of July bride too. Don't forget the sun doesn't go down till 8:30, so unfortunately you won't be able to see fireworks unless you're getting married that late. We had sparklers for everyone for after the sun went down and we got some really great pics of everyone with them. We also had fireworks near at the end of the reception.
