Well, I found a salon that will open on a Sunday. It is really close to my house, and everyone seems really nice. They will do all my girls hair and makeup the day of. THey also include brunch at the salon. Sounds real nice!!
The only prices I know so far are for the bride. It is $120 and up for hair and $100 and up for makeup.
Is this to much??

Hi Alli.. Unfortunately that seems normal. I have a trial next month and the day of prices are $125 for hair and the same for makeup. I personally think it's a lot too but they was the cheapest I found.

for that much $$ you can hire someone to come to your house.
the brunch is a nice touch, but I have to say, it was SO nice to not have to run around on my wedding day.

It's sad to say that's normal. And your lucky you found a salon open on a Sunday. My wedding was on a Sunday and everyone wanted to charge an extra $200 to come to the house or to open the store for me and the girls. But the $120 and up could be really up there. Get a definite price on what you want.

oh ok... in that situation I would definitely go to a salon.

My FMil has a friend, whose daughter works for mac. She said she would do my makeup for free. Then I could always get a hair stylist who travels. If you read my post above, I can't do it at my house. My FMIL said we could do it at her house. SHe said she would put up sheets in one room, and send FH out for the morning. Is that bad to be at the same house with FH. It could save me money, but is it better to go to the salon.

The brunch sounds nice, but personally I want someone to come to me and my girls the day of...I don't want to have to worry about ANYTHING! Price is about right...
