Is this too cheesy?
So, FHs daughter was voted 'madrina' (which is directly translated godmother but I dont think that´s the word you use in the US) of her grade and then through a randam, pull names out of a hat, sports girl of the school! It was all very exciting and she had to use those sashes like the beauty pageant contestants wear. Afterwards she was trying them on with her cousing and wanted me to try them on too and it was kinda fun. And although I´ve never like beauty pageants or anything like that (i was a real tomboy growing up) it made me feel all girly and pretty!! (sad, i know!!)
It maybe think that maybe I would have one made for each of the girls. (those things are cheap here, prob about $10 or less for hers they charged only like $4 or $5) Just a simple one that said, Maid of Honor, Bridesmaid, Flower Girl, etc. I just don´t know if this is silly. I don´t really know where they´d wear it, maybe the bridal shower or something. I know FHs daughter (the fg) would love having another one. and at least one of my bms would love it too. i don´t know about my sis (moh) or my other bm (although she wont be at my shower). My grandmother would prob be jealous (this is a woman who when she turned 61 inverted the nubmers and threw herself a sweet 16 at her house complete with pink decorations and a pink cake with a 16 candle!!)
Please let me know your honest opinons. I don´t know if this is dumb. I know they make us wear those stupid hats during the shower so maybe its payback?? But I thought maybe it would be cute. Then again, i´ve been hanging nonstop with 7 year old girls all weekend so it may be the effect of that talking. what do you all think?
