Is this too dark??

Do you think lapis (from Davids Bridal) is too dark for BM dresses in April or May?

I've seen every color dress in every month but is this a faux pas or no?

I really love this dress in lapis.

The color is perfect - honestly I think many weddings are not basing there colors on the season. Its more about the brides taste. GO FOR IT!

It's a really pretty color! I almost chose a similar color for my late may wedding, but didn't because it had too much of a black hue in it and I thought it would make them look pale. If the color is flattering on your girls then go for it!
I'm still using that color in the wedding, along with bright and light pinks!

I think it's ok. Is it an evening wedding? If it is, you can get away with just about anything since it will be dark out anyway

Nope. Gorgeous. I am using eggplant in June. Just punch it up with some bright flowers. Maybe some peonies?

Definitely not! I love that color! and you can always lighten it up with flowers if you wanted :)
