My wedding is April 10. I'm thinking of doing my shower on January 17. Is this too early? I'm against having it in March b/c I feel like there will be alot going on between dress fittings and last minute stuff. So it's between January and February.
my wedding is in 2 weeks and my shower was in September. Everyone is different, if that works out best for you, it's fine. It's less than 4 months, you're good.
I don't think that's too soon if your schedule doesn't allow for it to be in the next month!

I don't think that's too early. My shower is November 1st and my wedding is January 16th, so it's like 2 1/2 months early. 3 months wouldn't be much of a difference.
I think Feb would be better but Jan is ok. I was Aug 8 and did mine June 6. My mom thought it was a little early but my MOH lived in Paris and did it around her coming to the states. I wouldn't have done it in July though. To hectic. (I had my B-Party the last weekend in June, I felt that was a little early but it was the only day that worked for everyone.)
I am getting married in May and asked my mom to plan it for Jan or Feb. I am an accountant and March and April are crazy months for me. I think its fine to have your shower in January
I don't think it's too soon. My wedding is Aug 21 and the shower May 15, mainly because of my schedule (wanted it before July 1 and June is busy always!), but it also helps to spread it for your guests having to give gifts.
It's not too early! we have to do our shower 6 months in advance...since i'm only in NY summers and winters! don't worry! as long as your registered you can do it whenever
no that's not too early. probably better even so people don't stress about getting u 2 gifts so close together.

I think it's fine. My shower was 3 months before my wedding. I think that's within the normal range.
My shower was August 30 and I'm getting married November 14. I don't think it's too early.
I actually think that that's agreat time to have your shower. That way its early enough to have a great bridal shower and to see what things you get as gifts. Towards your later months you can focus on purchasing those items that you did not get at your bridal shower. 'Good Luck!!!
nope i think thats perfect, fsil is getting married april 25th her shower is jan 24th
