Am I totally nuts?? I think I want to have 2 videographers at the ceremony at the church-- I want them to get my reaction & FH's reaction and how can they do that with just one camera? What do you think-- is this over kill??

Personally, I'm not having a video - but that's my preference. That said, I do not think you're being ridiculous at all.
I was a professional videographer for a time when I lived in NC and we would often have two videographers at the ceremony for the exact same reason. You just need to decide if it's worth the extra money.
Also, if this is what you want, you should make it very clear to the videographers that you do NOT want one camera stationary! Often, they will leave one camera stationary, with a wide view of the ceremony and use the other for close-ups. This way, they have one main view to cut to.

you may want to ask the videographer if he can capture that moment.. some go out with two cameras... i know pat from golden moments has done this.. getting the first time you see each toher on tape...i've seen the video and it came out great!! but also you have to keep in mind that some churches are strict with video/photo (meaning how much they can snap away before they get annoying to the priest!)

I had two videographers starting with getting ready up to DH & I leaving the ceremony for the reception. I do not have the final product yet, (our fault 100%), so I don't know if they captured everything (the photographers - all 3 of them - did not).

if it is something you really really want and have it in your budget to do it- go for it!! We dont have video in our budget right no and are trying to work it in somehow as it would be great to see everything since I will probably be in a haze most of the day.

I don’t think its 2 much… I am having 2 video peeps at the church for that same reason I also want to see the front and back of my dress….lol

i had two videographers at mine. they captured exactly what u wanted. dh and i wanted the same thing.
we also had 2 photographers for the same reason! It worked out wonderfully!

You should talk to your church too. Most don't even allow videographers up on the altar. They may be getting a lot of shots from the back.

Are you saying that you're not happy with Velvet?? That is who we're using too- you had 3 photographers?? I am dissapointed to know that you werent 100% happy with them-- any particular reason?
