Ok i am currently look at many different ideas to decorate the table and incorporate chocolate brown and blue. I am not 100% sure i want the candles around my cp the way they are, i think i want something a bit different.
first is a pic of my sample cp, i will add more orchids.
now i found a pic, and was thinking about adding small arrangements around my cp, and have the cloth wrapped the way it is in the pic but instead of the brown and pink do brown and blue, i would use a smaller arrangement and wrap it the fabric. Or should i stick with candles but different ones, and maybe put ribbon on top with brown or blue.
Ill also throw in small arrangements done in other ways
I don't think so..i think that would look awesome! very pretty set up!

There is no such thing as too much when it comes to fresh flowers.

You don't need the extra arrangements cause it's already beautiful, but I think the cloth wrapped arrangements would be a really cute and pretty addition. You should see if your RH has larger table tops. For example, seat 10 at a 12 top table, so there is more table space for the extra arrangements.

yeah very true. I guess i gotta see what our final headcount is first bc we might need to fit more people at a table since were inviting over 300 , hopefully well be around 275 or just under 300

Its hard to tell frm the pics. I think if the center centerpiece is smaller it works, but if you have something tall, it might overpower the things around it and make it look to busy. But like I said, it is hard to visulize. I think it works in your third picture. And I think your sample is beautiful and would look nice surrounded by candles.

what about candles of all different heights? That could look cool! I think the ones in the pic are too small- but ifyou had them with taller ones it would work.

i dont want taller ones bc i think it will take away from the main cp. The bottom of the base has an orchid in it so want that to show, i think if i have other tall things along with my tall cp, then it takes the cp away as the main focus

Ohh ya you def want people to notice the orchids in the vase!! Well I think you have time to play around with different ideas so Im sure you will be able to get it to look just perfect! You have a great start with your sample- which would even look great if you have it by itself.

Re: is this too much for the table?
IMHO, the first picture you have and wanting to add smaller arrangements would be too much, too busy.
You have to take into consideration how the tables will be set : there is the charger, dinner plate, bread plate, silverware, at least three glasses (water, wine and champagne), usually two sets of salt & pepper, butter dish, two sets of cream & sugar. Table numbers, menus if you add them. Are the favors to be placed onthe tables ? Guests will place their cameras on the table, some will also put their purses on the table.
If you want to do multiple arrangements, then I do like the look of the third picture. It is simple, yet quite elegant, not a very busy look. .

Re: is this too much for the table?
I think that with the large number of guests/tables it might be to much. What about doing every other table with the added cp's? It would add the drama but not look 'stuffed' into the room. I agree that all flowers are beutiful and you can't go wrong but it might make the tables look crowded...JMHO either way it will look

yeah i decided against it, with my cp's adding other smaller arrangements around it will crowd it too much. Instead i will do very small square vases with a candle it

well i have my cp picked out already and keeping it as is in the first picture. I just wrote above but you are right, it is too crowded then if i add more so i will not be doing this. Thank you
