Is this too much? regarding favors....

My FH wants to have little boxes of chocolates on the table as favors.

We already have mini wine bottles (merlot, corked), jordan almond flowers, matches, and I bought bell placecard holders.

Do you think the box of chocolates would be overkill?

I think the table would look too cluttered....

It is a lot, but maybe if you really want to do it you can put the wine bottle and chcolate in a gift bag, or wrap them together in oprganza, it won't take up much more space that way. I'm sure your guests would really appreciate the chocolates, but I don't think its necessary, you already have plenty!

Im doing almost the same thing. But for the wine bottles (FH is going to make extra wine) Im going to have a table set up outside of the room where in - so as ppl walk out of the weddding, they will take one, and the table is going to be set up abt 1-2 hrs before the reception is over - so ppl cant start taking it when they get there

I agree, it may clutter the table, BUT chocolates and wine are my 2 favorite things!! maybe you could place the matchbooks in another area (example: the bar in a nice glass bowl, or something). What I did for my engagement party was the same idea, mini wine bottles and I tied using tulle and ribbon, a bunch of hersey kisses around the neck of the bottle, I dont have a pic of it on my computer, but they came out really nice. Maybe you could do this but instead of the chocolates have the almonds, and then in a box have the chocolates placed onto the dinner plates on the table. I think that would lessen the clutter.
