Is this too much/gaudy?

I think it is very pretty, but it all depends on what it looks like on.

The headpiece that I am getting is blah, in the case, but ti looks great on, it looks like a different headpiece.

That is absolutely gorgeous! I've seen gaudy...recently actually, and this ain't it!
The girl wore a 7 inch high full crown, it was the ugliest cheapest looking thing I had ever seen, and she wore it with a $6000 dress.

I think it goes well with your dress. But I would keep your jewelry (necklace/earrings) very simple, though, to maintain a balance.

I think it is substantial but not gaudy. It is also something that you could totally pull off, this would look ridiculous on a small girl. I would go for it. Sorry, never heard of the designer either.

I think it looks similar to the one that is in teh picture of your dress...both of which are beautiful!!

Jen- it looks very similar to what the girl in the pic is wearing...and it looks beautiful! It will look gorgeous on you!!
What happened with the other one? Guess they never got it for you huh?

I'm so torn.

The asking price is $425 (and according to the seller, it retails for $800), but my tiara is 'supposed' to be in next week. I already put a deposit of $225 down and the rest will be due when my tiara comes in (assuming they don't screw it up again.)

Do I purchase this headpiece anyway and choose which one I like best and sell the other on Ebay?
