So, we're having a black and red themed wedding. Rose petals will be EVERYWHERE! Would this be a cheesy thing to use as a placecard? We would get them in red of course!
I was thinking of putting these into floral foam and making a placecard garden.....ya know, tag each flower with a black tag with the name and table....
PS- if you can't see, they're 3-d rose lollipops on bendy sticks so they look like flowers....

i think it's really cute! especially if you decorate the foam with that grassy stuff, and maybe through some real flowers in there, i like the garden idea!

I can't envision it, but it sounds like it could be really nice!!! would all the 'flowers' be in one vase or would they all be seperated?

Its very cute, I say stick them in a bed of grass or foam like you mentioned, very diff, go for it

I'm picturing taking the floral foam and putting them in their sort of spread out (so people can find their card)....
I think if I did it I would add a little fence and put the fake grass on top of the foam...with a dusting of the fake snow to match our winter wedding....
this could be so cheesy...

I dont think it's cheesy at all!
unless you have a family that laughs at things all the time. My FH's family laughs at everything and makes fun of everything. I went there this weekend to straighten his niece's hair - she has never had it straightened before. Then i taught her how to wrap (for all you curly hair girls, you know what I'm talking about) - they were all cracking up at her and at me (because I told them I used to do this all the time to keep my hair straight) - I'm thinking now she will never want to do it again - i dont know why they have to find something funny in everything. it's so annoying. anyway, unless your family is like that (doubt it!), I say DO IT! I think it's very original and people will appreciate the thought and work you put into it.

i have always loved those. i still have one my first boyfriend gave me back in the day. i think it's a really cute idea! and ps... dorky isnt always a bad thing.

i used these for a centerpiece at my sis' baby shower..I put them in a small Watering pot.... Everyone loved it!
