So I had emailed a couple of places to see if they had any of the new 2010 dresses in for San Patrick.
One of the places wrote me back that they had one of the dress I was asking about (YEAY!), but some of the others that I was inquiring about (namely the 2009 collection) gets discontinued after the season is over and the new season comes out.
Is this true? No stores carry the 2009 line of San Patrick now that 2010 is out?
Cuz if that's so than I can knocked out about 5 dresses in my folder right now and make my decision a hell of a lot easier LOL

i went to two bridal shops today and they both told me that alot of the designers discontinue their dresses after its been out for 2 seasons so it could be true that san patrick is one of them.

sad... but honestly the dress I really liked from their 2009 collection is very similar to one that just came out (the one the store has that I can try on).

it depends on how popular the style is. i've seen some styles that get 'discontinued' for a season or two and then makes a comeback!

I was told when I bought my Pronovias dress that Pronovias does business the 'european way'. Supposedly, now I this is what they said, that other countries discontinue their dress after the season, where in the US a dress will still be manufactured for quite sometime.

I bought my San Patrick dress in April 2009 and it was a 2009 style. I believe they were starting to discontinue the 2008 styles around that time. I still had the option of ordering a 2008 dress but I might have only had another month or so to do so.
PS ...RK Bridal is still selling my San Patrick dress which is a 2009 style. I saw it a few weeks ago when I picked up my shoes. You might want to check them out.
