I am getting married at the Woodbury Country club. When I asked my banquet manager about rehearsal,, he said they don't normally do that? Another weird thing , they dont do tastings???
that is NOT true! a friend of mine got married there and we had a rehearsal and they had a tasting.

It's possible that they don't do that anymore. They used to.
I am getting married at WCC and I was told they don't do tastings. The BM did say that I could possibly taste some appetizers from a wedding going on, but likely not a meal. In the end I didn't really mind. I know people who have eaten there before and I even had my prom there. I'm sure it will be fine.

I know I insisted on it. My hall first told me 'they don't normally do that' and when I said I don't normally pay thousands of dollars for ONE DAY either, but I am...and now they will (and they did!)![]()
We looked into them years ago, and they gave us a tasting.
I do NOT want to see him until I walk down the aisle so I would never do a rehearsal the day of. He agrees, I would put my foot down if someone even suggested we had to do that!
I agree. When I had asked the banquet manager about the rehersal, he suggested I do it 1/2 hr. before the wedding. I said absolutely not. I do not want to see my FH on that day at all.
I was a bm in a wedding at Westbury Manor. Rehearsal was literally 10 min before the guest started poring in. The bride didn't participate in the rehearsal.... Just everyone else.
thats one thing that kind of turned us away from woodbury country club, was that they didnt do any food tasting.
I was able to taste the cocktail hour food during a wedding
