So I was just talking with my Mom about my b-party (I know, so far in advance) and she was talking about how she knows she is not invited and stuff...but I actually kinda want her there. The plan is to go to Lucky Chengs, then out bar hopping...I figured she could come to the Lucky Chengs part, and then I can invite my aunt and two of my cousins as well. Is it weird to invite those people? There's going to be drag queens and penis straws and stuff but I love my mom and she's definitely one of my best friends and she's not overly sensitive about stuff like that anyway.

Totally up to you. My mom keeps asking if she's invited to my b-party and I told her absolutely not, lol. Besides, if I invited her, I'd have to invite FMIL......and THAT just wouldn't be good

Definitely not!! I'm going to have kinda a pre-bachelorette party with my family/friends. It's kind of a tradition for our family. We have dinner and drinks before we got out bar hopping with all of our friends. Definitely invite them!

My mom is invited to mine... i dont know if she would want to come on a drunken bus ride to a baseball game but... she can if she wants... some of my aunts will be invited...

I think it really depends on the relationship between you and your mom and the type of person she is. My mom would NOT NOT NOT be invited to my b-party lol. But one of my BM's invited her mom to her's and she had a blast!! She even got a lap dance!

If she can handle all the craziness that goes on at Lucky Cheng's then it should be fine.
But I would not suggest getting the novelty cake, we got it for my MOH's b-party and it was a waste of $100. It's more frosting than cake and no one ate it.
And be prepared to get up on stage, my friend had to do a dance competition with the other bride's; she wanted to kill her sister.

It's not weird at all. I am going to extend the invitation to my my mom, FMIL and my aunts (although I honestly think only one of my aunt's will probably attend).
I am also planning on doing a separate weekend thing to include my mom, aunts, grandmas, and BP (probably a trip to AC or Moehgan - my grandma said she can't wait to his the slots )

Not at all. I want to go to Lips and my mom is totally invited to come along. Actually, my mom is the one who told me about Lips years ago, LOL.
I just hope she'll be in NYC for it!
ETA: My mom is mad young, so going out with her isn't weird for me. She's only 45.
