Background: I'm 33 and my 2 best friends in the world (one girl and one guy) and I have been spending every weekend.....since college (where we met ) together....forever. If one of us had a date, the 2 others got together. We're pretty close; have been through a lot together over many years. They have been my family and always will be.
Since I got married, they don't include me in everything.....which is expected but sort of odd. They both just called me, at home, asking the directions to one of the restaurants in the village is that we had been to.......they couldn't find it and wanted me to google it. They asked what I was doing and I was like.....'making boboli pizzas and watching Borot.....' They didn't even ask me to join.....which for the past 10 years it would have just been the norm for us all to be together. I understand that my life is slightly different now....but I still love them. I wouldn't trade my life with DH for anything in the world....but I sort of feel nostalgic for the life that I no longer have.....which I did up until a month ago. I wouldn't trade my boboli pizzas and rental movies with DH for anything.....but its just a little wierd....thats all. Just a thought.......

They may just be trying to give you some space to spend time with your new DH since you to are newlyweds. I would talk to them.

Re: Is this what happens???? Kind of long......
maybe they figure you wouldn't want to come out right now? I am 33 & the last of my friends to get married...I think it's important to still get together w/o your significant others once in awhile..it doesn't happen as much as we'd like but we have fun when it does
But one thing that used to drive me nuts w/ one married friend is she would always just assume when i said 'Hey want to do someting on Sat?' that her DH was invited as well..and i don't care for him that much..and wanted to spend some alone time w/ her...and would just be annoyed when he showed up all the time with her..or he'd call her 5 times while we were out...just things to keep in mind...i think it's important to have time w/ your friends with and w/o DH...not that i think that;s why they are ditching you...but just some insight of how i've felt at times as the single gal w/ my married pals
