Because they are really incompetent at regular tasks, so people think they may be better at delegating (and they usually aren't)

yes, mine is a doofus!! he has no managerial skills whatsoever... we had a meeting once, and he had everything he wanted to say written out, and READ FROM the paper the WHOLE time!!! And he has to write things out (like procedures) step by step even when its not necessary... common sense things like, open program, hit enter... (i usually go to fast for him, always 3 steps ahead of him)

Hehehe, doofus. That word always makes me think of the Seinfeld ep where Elaine is running the Peterman co. and she's on the phone with Jerry, with a cigar in her mouth, calling Kramer a dooo-fus. hehehe

I used to work for an idiot at my old company...I'm so glad I left and work for smart people now.

I had a assistant principal that pronounced Kosovo as Kosogo...and I this was a SOcial Studies Department!!!


My last boss was the opposite though...the nicest guy...and he won $25K on History IQ on the History Channel!!
