We look out the window and see the blizzard. We got people here who live in CT, PA and NJ. Do you think they care? Please, no way.

Actually I shouldn't complain we close early on Fridays, we are out of here at 2.45 today.

I took the day off because I have a friend visiting from out of state. Her flight isn't due in until 6 (although it's delayed out of Denver now, so it will probably be later than that), but I had time that I had to use at work, so I took today and Monday off. I still have 3 more days to take before the end of the year that I'll lose if I don't take, so hopefully there will be snow only on the days that I don't take off! But if I were there, chances are, they would tell us that if we want to leave early we could feel free - if we have the time to take! Pfffffft!

I hope some of you DO get to go home early....not for anything, but my hubby just came home from a run to the corner store (okay, I ran out of diapers for Paul! ) and he said the roads are HORRIBLE and cars are sliding ALL OVER the place!

This storm is a very wet snow. Get home early (before it freezes over!) and safely, everyone!

We were told about 4:00 (which for me means nothing b/c I leave at 4:00 anyway)

I work for a SUNY and only the Governor can close the campuses, and he hasn't so far. If we chose to leave on our own we have to charge our time, but my boss said we can leave at 3 quietly

I just told my boss I amleaving at 4 - but I wish I said 3 b/c it looks like it's coming down faster now.

same here. my company rarely lets us go home early or close because of the snow either.
