My FI wants to get a ring called Mokume (sp?) for his wedding band. They are very neat but different. Nothing I thought that he would choose, that's forsure. But I was wondering if anyone else's FI/Hubby went this route too?? If so, can you show the pics!!
Here's the one that he wants to get.....well, something close to it:
Mine picked something a little different as well. We ordered it, but since it hasn't come in yet, I don't have a pic. The outside edges are faceted, and the center is brushed white gold.
we'll probably end up w/ different ones, he likes the kind w/ a border, and he wants me to get diamonds, but i like plain stuff!

I think that wood grain ring is really great looking. I have an artist friend in Ohio, shes all about that stuff. I like this, but I would make it all silver, and the waves would reach the top band...
FI's ring is very different. He owned the inexpensive version of this ring and he loved it. He didn't really like anything else, and he knew he'd want to wear this one. ~~Kim

Yes, they are different. I have a platinum eternity band and he has a platinum solid band.

One of fh's rings is different (his everyday one). It's platinum band (fairly thick) & then in the middle is the claddagh hands/symbol (into the ring---not a classic claddagh ring). I don't have pics yet

My FI is picking out a titanium ring and I'm getting either pave or channel setting around the whole ring. As long as he'll wear it I don't think it matters if they match

Thanks for sharing your pics :) I was kinda worried that I was the only one who had a FI/Hubby that wanted to be different in this area! Thank goodness I'm not though! :)
dh has a titanium ring... i think its different cause its black, rather than silver or gold... his is very similar to this, but its a little more of the black and less of the silver....

Your band is the exact same band that I am getting with my ring. Except that the diamonds will be round instead of princess cut. My e-ring is a solitaire on a 2mm band, so with my wedding band, they look beautiful together. I like the look of not fitting perfectly together. :)
