I HAVE TO go to a luncheon today for my Dept.

How boring is that? I could not care less. They have a grab bag that I did not even sign up for.

The present I picked from the grab bag is actually NWR worthy.

A 10 piece barware set.

There could be worse things.

Wow, I just read through that whole thread. What a loser!!!! She can't write English very well, I can only imagine what her 'personalized' thank you notes said!!!

Yea, it was quite random and WAY off topic. The thread that JB06 linked, I was commenting on 'SensuallyTaken's' remarks.

I'm eating rigatoni ala vodka right now, from our luncheon. I must say, it's quite good.

This is what we get instead of a holiday party. I suppose I should consider myself lucky.

I already have my eye on one of the presents under the tree for the grab bag later. But it will probably be lame when I open it.

sucker. we had 2 holiday parties. One was snooty and at my boss's country club. The other was IN A GARAGE and such a blast. I used to bartend so I can open beer with my bare hands...I became quite popular [and sober]...not to mention I had a friend's keys and she has a bottle opener for the non-twist offs...Me in a room with oh, 100 men and this amazing ability...it was hilarious.

I just spent 3 days locked in a conference room completing a gap analysis of multiple billing systems.

So do you think my work is boring? It isn't a ride at Disney.

Sounds like mine...almost.....

I work in collections and make collection calls all day at work...thankfully I haven't had to get b!tchy with any customers....YET.

And I am now relegated to coming on here at night. My company just hired an IT guy....so I'm sure he is looking into everyone's net surfing habits since that's how we got the last virus that killed our server for over a week.
