Isagenix

Isagenix

Has anyone done this? I have seen so many people who have used it and gotten amazing results.

I am so tempted to get it...but it costs a ridic amount of money and even if I lose 20 pounds by the wedding..I would feel so guilty with the amount of money i would have spent on it...even at the wholesale price.

Re: Isagenix

its like a cleanse system. You have a cleanse day where you drink something and eat their snacks. then the other days I believe you drink 2 shakes, a 400 cal meal, and 3 snacks.

there is a like a 30 day system that cost close to $300 though! I think its so expensive. FH would kill me! haha But so many people who have used it lost 15-20 pounds....even my doctor.

grrrrr

I hate to be a downer and im sure there are plenty of people who love this sort of cleanse diet but I don't like them for weight loss purposes. If you want to clean out your body cool but not for weight loss. It is not a realistic lifestyle that you can keep forever and therefore the results won't last. I am a true believer in eating healthy, well balanced foods. That's just me though. Good luck in whatever you decide!

Re: Isagenix

i ordered it bc i have a friend who lost like 10 lbs in 2 weeks....

however, after only a few days it made me feel really sick and i had to stop it. I know everyone has different reactions, but I wouldn't recommend it. I would rather take a little extra time to lose weight the right way (eating healthy/exercising) than making myself sick for a quick fix.

like i said, my friend lost the weight and didn't have the same reaction, but just wanted to share my experience.

eta: i thought the shakes and stuff you have to drink were nasty and could hardly get them down....not worth the money!

Realistically, this will never keep the weight you want off forever. It seems like an expensive quick fix that may have severe consequences. I'd rather just eat super healthy and exercise daily.

My FMIL is acutally doing this... IMHO, I dont think its worth it.. is like 500 and all they do it give you pills (herbal) and i read the ingrediants and basically its all stuff you can at a natural remedy store and its like a load of fiber intake (in the form of protien shakes - also if you know the ingrediants you can do it yourself) and they make you speed up your metabolism buy eating 5 times a day mandatory.. trust me, save your money, increase your fiber and eat heathly and it will be excatly the same as this program

Yea.....the little voice in my head keeps saying do not get it. haha
I guess my conscience works. But I have to admit, it is tempting, just not realistic. The part that got me thinking more about it was when I saw my gyn doc so thin and i know she has been trying for years to get off the last 15 pounds and she finally did in the last 2 months....but I guess the real test is when she is off it.

if you really want to do this.. just do a cleanse ... Yogi Tea (sold everywhere, even GNC) has a detox tea.. its reall light and a cleanse .. you can start with that and after you cleanse, start to increase your fiber intake and watch your calories... and work out. you will lose wieght in no time!

You have SO MUCH time to lose it the right way and keep it off! Don't be tempted by these kinds of diets!

I have used isagenix...honestly its great...I shed a few lbs. but what I like most about it was that I had sooo much energy! It is great, however, it is verrrry expensive, which is why I stopped using it! It may be worth the $$ for a few months, and then try to maintain on your own!

A lady that I work with does Isagenix. If you do it, do not start by ordering the 30 day. Order the 9 day one first. She lost a lot of weight from it (about 27 lbs in 2 months). She does lookm great. I have looked into as well, but i didnt want to spend the money. She said the shakes are pretty good.
