I drove past it about a year ago. They front of the place looks like hell(it's a plain old golf clubhouse), but it's run by Lovin Oven of Flowerfield and Lands End fame so I'm sure the food is great and from what I've seen on the website the room and golf course seem really nice.

I looked there. The front is very unimpressive but the facilities inside were nice. The back section has an area for ceremony or cocktails on the golf course. The price is right and they were willing to negotiate, I ended up at another lovin oven location because I fell in love with Flowerfield (much more expensive). Lovin Oven is known for their food so I think you can't go wrong. Good luck :-)

I havent been there but my mother worked for lovin oven and her friend still does (at West Lake Inn though). They do a great job and food is wonderful. Andrea, I have worked at flowerfield, its really nice there. I havent been there in a while but I heard they took out the inground pool. Shame because people used to book pool parties after the wedding for the bridal party! Good luck! Oh, they own their own bakery too-Audreys in West Sayville.. so the cakes are great.

I am from Sayville and drive past it all the time. Personally, I think it looks cruddy from the outside. The last time I was inside was at my Senior Prom--I remember it was nice but who knows what could have happened in 10 years. There are a million other places for a reception. How much are you looking to spend per head?
