So FH's best friend from college is getting married up in Boston on 7/24. We got save the dates and such, so did a bunch of his friends. Now its 6/8 and we still havent gotten an invite. Is it me or is that super late?? I figured the RSVP date would be end of June.
FH called his friend to make sure they didnt get the invite either- to make sure we weren't un invited!!!

thats what I thought, which is why I made FH make phone calls this weekend. As of Sunday, no one had gotten them and we still need to me OOT arrangements. FH's friend has no idea what the time the wedding even is!

strange but 2 things: 1 - wedding outside NYC and LI tend to be so different.
2 - some people just are so laid back with this stuff. for example...Our friend got married in vermont in october and we got the invitation 5 weeks before and there was only a few $$$$ bed and breakfasts close by, they just were so amazingly relaxed about everything it was so strange to us!

maybe something happened with the invitations? maybe they had to be re-done?
my cousins wedding invitations went out super late because she had so many issues with the company she used. and then her caligrapher was horrible, and she didnt have time to get them re-done. they looked like a 10 year old, who just learned how to write script, addressed them.
