Ist Anniversary Gifts

Hey Ladies,

What did you all get or plan on getting your husbands for your 1st anniversaries?

I am having a hard time coming up with a good gift.

well it is not my ann. but the 1st anniversary is suppose to be paper, so you can get him like concert tix or something else that is paper, GL and congrats

I did a lot of research because I wanted our first anniversary to be super special. (hope I feel that way every year LOL).
Traditionally, the first anniversary is paper (ie tickets, stationary) , the more modern 1st anniversary gift representing time (clock, watch)

I couldn't decide between taking him away or buying him a watch he has been dying for. I opted for the vacation, and maybe if I can manage it he'll get the watch for another occasion.
After lots of advice from the other helpful ladies and gents on this site I ended up going with the trip.
We are going to the Dominican Republic for our anniversary. His present will be the airplane ticket.
We are super excited!

We are going to Vegas for our anniversary trip- we leave tomorrow!

I bought Dh an antique map where you place colored pins on the places you have been, want to go...etc... it is so nice!

and Dh bought me Tickets to see the play Spring Awakening in NYC in August

We went all out! I am excited to celebrate!

well ours isn't til November but I was thinking of saving some $$ and getting him this LV duffle bag that I saw him eyeing when he bought my new bag for valentine's day. I figured it woul dbe good for our FL trips.
