On my lunch break I was standing outside my car in my office parking lot talking to my mom on my cell...mind you I work in Commack...
This hispanic guy, probably in his 20s or so, was across the street waiting to turn left at the light staring directly at me. When he got to turn, he made a U-ie and turned into my parking lot.
He stops his car right by me...I realized this and slowly turned around, still talking to my mom on the phone and he starts asking me a question.
So me bein the nice person I am looks at him and asks what hes looking for..
He has a wad of cash in his hand, flashing it at me and says 'mononye' or something to that effect. I have zero experience with the Spanish language, so I ask him if he needs to know where the bank is…silly me.
He continues to say “mononye” to me…so finally I’m like, nope don’t know what you’re saying, sorry…and I walked back in side.
Lo and behold, according to google, monona [mo-no’-nah] 1. Graceful and pretty, especially if very young (mujer).
I was obviously being offered money for sex...in daylight, in my office parking lot, in Commack
Just be careful...it doesnt matter if it's a 'nice' area, with high taxes....these sort of people are everywhere...
